FOR BONNIERS OPEN SOURCE IS NOT CHEAPER

Martin Edström at the site MKSE.COM had a chat with management from Bonniers and talked about last years huge open source projects that was launched by Bonniers with various result.

According to Bonnier:

".. There is no evidence that open source would be the right choice, or that it would be cheaper. It can indeed be enormously expensive in consulting side.
One can not invest millions and jeopardize the group's revenues and Web sites loyal reader of something that has no support organization - that would be directly irresponsible "

To bad so much money (it was allot) had to be wasted - but I think it shows strong leadership to accept the fact that we tried, it didn't work - let's move on.
